So far, there seem to be 4 main candidates for FOMC chairman:
-Scott Bessent
-Chris Waller
-Kevin Hassett
-Kevin Warsh
A recent WSJ article pointed to the last two as the frontrunners, so I will focus on them as the first two are quite well known.
