Canada has been a key focus for me, not just because I live here, but due to the sharp divergences between the country and the US. I covered many of these in a prior note La Maladie. It’s time for an update.
The biggest difference between the two is a substantial change in per capita GDP between the two, which started when Mr. Trudeau became Prime Minister. This is leading to major dissatisfaction among Canadians.
